Old time banjo players especially have a reason to visit. There were more open backs on the racks than you can imagine in one place -- Ramseys, Omes, Deerings and more. Jim says as soon as one comes in, he orders its replacement. That's optimism, folks. And Jim can play em too!

Then there was the recording selection. More old time CD's than you can listen to in a month. And, just to be sure, a fine selection of guitars, bass's, mandolin's and more. You'll have to see the selection of banjo instruction books and videos for yourself to believe it.

I met Jim at Winfield last year when he agreed to host my 'Meet the Banjo' workshop, as well as set up a clawhammer workshop and lessons. Well, that then turned into a concert, held in the store, and also a chance to record with Jim for his upcoming album 'Stiff Legged Opossum.' In March alone, I was to be followed by banjo masters Ken Perlman and Mike Seeger.
